The GD 335-6 Glass Break Detector has a transistor output and should be connected to the control panel through the IU 300 Interface Unit. It is specifically designed for the surveillance of shop-windows, glass sliding doors, standard windows and other vulnerable glass surfaces in public offices and private homes. It can be used on windows coated with security film if the detector is mounted on the glass, rather than the film. It can be used to secure glass cabinets that protect valuable items. The detector emits an alarm signal at the moment the glass breaks. It is very resistant to any irrelevant disturbance to the glass, or in its vicinity. Ideal for 24-hour loop perimeter protection.
