ETH-ETH500-SET is a set of two converters that increase the range of a LAN network with POE. Installed between any PoE switch and a PoE-powered IP camera, it allows you to increase the network range up to 800m using a standard UTP cable. The devices enable the installation of cameras or other IP PoE devices in remote places where installing additional cabling is impossible or unprofitable. It is an economical alternative to cabling based on optical fiber and a separate power line. It will work well in installations in large areas as well as in places where the monitoring system is temporary and where the cost of preparing the cabling is important. The use of the ETH-ETH500-SET kit facilitates the modernization of existing television systems based on analog cameras with UTP cabling over distances exceeding 100 m, where it is not possible to install standard network devices. The ETH-ETH500 module can be powered from any PoE switch (RJ45 port) Then, we connect the ETH-ETH500 modules via the LONG RANGE ports with a UTP cable. The maximum length of the cables in the LONG RANGE track is 800 m. The connection between the ETH-ETH500 modules provides bidirectional network communication and PoE power supply. A camera or other PoE receiver can be connected to the RJ45 port of the ETH-ETH500 module at the end of the line. After correct identification of the PoE receiver in the power switch, all devices will be powered and the connection in the entire path will be established. The devices can optionally be powered via POWER screw connectors. In such a case, they should be powered independently on both sides of the LONG RANGE track. The set includes two identical devices - there is no distinction between the transmitter and the receiver. They can be installed interchangeably on the LONG RANGE line.
